I made this with an old jumper dress I cut up. I modified the back by
 rounding off the corners.

I made a couch

The couch

  I posted the chair before. Now I have the couch and chair together.

I am very happy how it all worked out I even made an ottoman.

 The only thing I changed on the seats was the amount

 of stuffing on the cushions and I did not do any piping.

The first time I made the chair (posted) my resin people couln't sit properly.

so I reduced the "stuffing" layers to 2 instead of three layers.

The tut is for an upholster chair I  used the same patter but elongated or enlarged some

 pattern  pieces it to make a couch or as some say "sofa"

A new recliner chair I made from a tut

This was BIG challange for me. I found the instructions very hard to follow!  My cushions are not according the the tut. I had to make my own style. I had lots of problems fitting it right. It does work to sit upright and recline. Anyway, I am pleased with my first attempt. I used the faux leather from an old vest I got at a thrift store. It was very light and soft and easy to work with.

To my hubby on Valentine's Day!

He was very touched by this and  I was over joyed!

I made this from from a wooden book box.

At the dollar tree I found the 

 perfect card- tri folded so I had a cover, a verse for the inside

left wall and another design for the right wall

 and on the back table too.

A close up of the table:

chocolates, a Valentine's card, perfume and and a box of red  roses,

another gift bag, wine cheese and crackers.

 

 


This is the card I bought him on the left to go with the book and
 I will attach it to the back.

I won a blog drawing for a beautiful rug. It has not arrived and it's been at least 2 months now . The  bad thing is with all the holiday events I can't remember whose blog it was and I lost all my e mails after changing computers so I cannot remember who was sending it I do believe it was from Australia. My "Merry Mini Christmas" in a Gift Box!

I built this out of foam core about 2 years ago..

TADA!  finally done.

Christmas gift I made

A group of ladies I meet with in a miniature group had a a Christmas Party. We each brought a gift  to exchange and this was what I made for the group. I made the plate from scrapebook paper, cookies are punchd out of fun foam, painted & glitter and mug was filled with a mixture of glue and paint, dried a few days then topped off the tiny styrofaom balls for marshmellos. I printed two lists one for Santa or one for mom and dad. I also imcluded 2 stocking stickers with furry tops. The lace doilie is a Martha Steward sticker and then glued it all down on a place mat.

It's wallpapered and carpeted. I used scrapbook paper.
I have a top cover for it's but it's not on  until
 I put will put some minis inside.  I have decide what and how but I'm  busy with real life things going on ..stay tuned!!
