Diner backside and the counter I made!

I forgot to add this picture of the outside
done in scrapbook paper.
I made the counter for the back wall

The counter :
foam core, matt board cupboards spray painted in silver high gloss paint,
wood dowels for door handles and a nice large 8X8 piece of Duck tape
I found at Joann's for the top.
You can't see the bottom but I covered it with a silver metal tape under the toe area too.
A few of the items show I got from a diner sale on Facebook!
I really got a lot of stuff that all won't fit in but I'll do my best  !

This room box was very trashy when I got it!

 I think is real wallpaper.

Right side:
repainted some scrapbook sticker alphas and framed
them on scrapbook paper and edged with gold paint

The tub from the Dollar tree was plain gold tannish color,
I repainted it and  added gold feet.
The bottle filled with tiny beads is from Dollar Tree also.
The pretty little basket made by a friend in a swap by Dee Gadway
Slippers from a swap

Tea for Two!!!

My newest project completed.
I did NOT make this one but I saw this tea room online and it inspired me to want to make something similar to it and had to try and make one myself,
so here are my results below... first started with an idea, how I should make it, then completed with some changes. I didn't use the scalloped edges, at all.

                                        Ideas: what to use

lamp I chose

repainted it and used a different scrapbook
 wallpaper paper.

Right wall
I got the "Friends" sign from a magazine.
I made the wreath

made a print of the music
to the song "Tea for Two"
and put it on the back.

Left wall
 Bird and tea cups.
(I need to glue the edges more)

Final setting of the table

found a sign online (Pinterest I think)
for the center back...
did a little photo shop added words
 and framed color edges.

TADA!!:)

Completed!!
I am very pleased with the results!
I covered the outside it with fabric that I forgot I had
and I used ribbon to cover rough edges.
I am not using the sign at the bottom.

A garden chair / stash from show!

Something for the outside of the "Rose of Sharon" flower shop.
I want to do some landscaping and
I saw a chair like this at a Dollhouse show in Lancaster PA.
but it costs so much so I thought I should try to make one like it.
I first had blue flowers but changed it to soften it up.
here's the before pic.
I felt the leaves were too dark and the flowers a bit large.
What do you think?

what I bought at the show some great buys

my really good buys!

This is what I got on the way home from the
Country Cupboard restaurant/ Gift shop.
My hubby got me theses for Mother's day.
I had to have these I only wish I could buy it all!
The place was fantastic all kinds of fairy gardens all set up
really cute here's some pics of it. I took many but you get the idea!

My friend got this for me!!! I am thrilled!!
I still need to add something more to the lonely cup on right at 2:00!

So here's what was going in the store front !

THE ROSE OF SHARON
My flower shop Welcome to: ROSE OF SHARON!
My dear friend Cheryl Lee helped to arrange my flowers, I made lots but  only used a few and now.
I have to do the outside landscaping with the help of my dear friend Yvonne Lord and she arranged the red roses on the top shelf in the green vase for me and Cheryl Lee gave my the cute lilies on the bottom shelf in the jar!
I am so loving this. I made the flower basket on the left top shelf and the lower plant on the bottom shelf to the far right in the silver bead pot and the tulips on the floor under the front shelf in the window and I made the paper pitchers too. The little girl found some cute daises for her mom. (her mom works there) I need to add a welcome sign as well! Your are welcome to come in and shop.
Sorry no winners for those who tried to guess what was going in the shop box!!
(click on the pic to see it bigger!)
